Welcome to RS FX.

I am Roman Schmidt, Visual Effects TD specialized to create complex and challenging VFX Shots in every aspect of movie-making.

I worked as a cameraassistent between 1997-99, then went on as a digital artist in the games and realtime applications field. In the following years i studied animation at the academy for film and television HFF in Potsdam-Babelsberg and made my degree in 2006. Since more than five years i've concentrate my work on visual effects made with simulation software like the academy award winning software Flowline developed by ScanlineVFX.

I'm experienced working on feature film productions as VFX TD and CG Supervisor for several shows. My key skills are solving problems in time, organizing tasks effectively and team-oriented, incessantly improving tools and techniques as well as of course dedication to high quality and professionalism.
